Blood+

Under the care of her adoptive family, Saya Otonashi has been living the life of an anemic and amnesiac, but otherwise ordinary schoolgirl. Saya’s happy life is shattered when she is attacked by a chiroptera, learning that she is the only one who can defeat them.
Armed with her katana, Saya embarks on a journey with her family, allies, and her chevalier, Haji[3], to rid the world of chiroptera and rediscover her identity. The course of the journey reveals the background history of the chiropterans and Saya's very deep past, which extends into the mid-19th century.
The series is initially set in present day (September 2005) Okinawa City (Koza), on Okinawa Island, near the US Kadena Air Base. In the course of the series, Saya visits locations across the world, fighting enemy chiroptera and searching for her origins.

AIR

Set in the middle of summer, Air's story revolves around three girls whose lives are connected to the same man. Yukito Kunisaki, the main protagonist, is a showman traveling across Japan, continuing his mother's search for the "girl in the sky".
At the beginning of the story, Yukito comes across a small seaside town where the story takes place. On his first day in town, Yukito tries to earn money by putting on a mysterious puppet show for kids he finds by manipulating a doll magically without strings. Yukito is unsuccessful in gaining the children's favor, and the children end up running off without paying him for his performance.
Defeated after not getting any money, and not having enough for even a meal, Yukito falls asleep on a seawall near the beach. He awakens the next day to find beside him a young girl who introduces herself as Misuzu Kamio – a sincere yet clumsy girl who is eager to become friends with him. Misuzu persistently attempts to play with him, while Yukito tries to refuse her efforts. When Misuzu finds out Yukito has not eaten anything since the day before, she suggests that he come to her house and eat for the time being. Lured by a chance to eat, Yukito follows her back home. Upon learning of Yukito's lack of lodging, Misuzu suggests that he stay at her home until he can find a place in town while he earns money, despite Yukito's hesitance to go along with her plan. That night, Haruko – Misuzu's aunt and foster-mother – comes home and after Yukito and Misuzu persuade her, it is decided that he will stay with them on two conditions: that he sleeps in the shed, and that he shares a drink with Haruko.
As Yukito resides with Misuzu, he meets two other girls, Kano Kirishima and Minagi Tohno, who like Misuzu, have strange personalities connected with mysterious pasts. Before long, a legend of "one thousand summers" begins to unfold where the mysteries of the past are framed by the odd relationship between Yukito and Misuzu.

Hellsing Hellsing chronicles the efforts of the mysterious and secret Hellsing Organization, as it combats vampires, zombie-like creatures called ghouls, a powerful werewolf, and other supernatural foes who threaten the kingdom of England. The name Hellsing is an alternate spelling of "Helsing", as in Abraham Van Helsing, from the Bram Stoker novel Dracula.

Wolf´s Rain

Wolf's Rain begins in Freeze City, a northern city in a world where the majority of people live in poverty and hardship. According to a nearly forgotten legend, when the end of the world comes, Rakuen will appear but only wolves will know how to find it. Wolves are believed to have been hunted to extinction nearly two hundred years ago, but they still live, surviving by using illusions to give themselves human appearances.
Kiba, an injured lone white wolf goes to Freeze City following the scent of the Lunar Flower, which is the key to opening Paradise. There he encounters Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, three other wolves living in the city who were drawn there by the scent of the Lunar Flowers. The wolves also have their first encounter with Quent Yaiden, a former Sheriff obsessed with searching for and killing wolves, and his dog Blue. Cheza, the Flower Maiden who will lead the wolves to Paradise, is being studied at a laboratory under the care of Cher Degré. She is awakened by the smell of wolf's blood. As Kiba and Hige approach the lab to find her, she is stolen away by Lord Darcia the Third, whose people created Cheza.
With Cheza gone, none of the wolves have any reason to stay in the city. Despite some initial misgivings and suspicions they decide to stick together and follow Kiba in his search for the Flower Maiden and Paradise. As they pursue Cheza, the wolves travel through various cities and the empty shells of former habitations. Cher joins the city's army to try to recover Cheza, while Cher's ex-husband Hubb searches desperately for Cher, and Quent continues his relentless pursuit of the wolves. When Blue eventually encounters Cheza, it awakens her sleeping wolf blood and causes her to leave Quent and taken on her own human illusion. She joins Kiba's pack and travels with them for awhile, developing a relationship with Hige. After she gets separated from the pack, she travels with Cher, while Hubb finds himself traveling with Quent, who is now searching for Blue as well as the wolves.
The wolves and the humans come together in Jaguara's city, where the captured Cheza is being held. In attempting to rescue Cheza, Kiba, Tsume, and Toboe are captured. Tsume and Toboe are thrown into a dungeon with Hubb while Jaguara attempts to use Kiba's blood to force open Paradise. Blue and Cher also make their way into the Keep as does Quent. Darcia interrupts the ceremony as Kiba and the other wolves break free and rush to free Cheza. Darcia kills Jagara and battles Kiba as Jagara's keep collapses around them. The wolves and the humans barely escape with their lives, though Quent is badly wounded saving Blue from falling debris.
The wolves, now accompanied by Cheza, Cher, Hubb, and Quent, continue trying to make their way to Paradise, pursued by the now insane Darcia. A combination of environmental factors and Darcia's hostility causes most of the characters to die in tragic circumstances, until only Kiba, Cheza, and Darcia are left at the place where Paradise can be opened. Darcia is destroyed when he attempts to enter Paradise. Cheza's body disintegrates into seeds. Fatally wounded, Kiba believes his quest has failed, but as he lays dying, rain begins to fall and he sees Cheza's seeds grown into thousands of lunar flowers.
At the series' close, Toboe, Tsume, Hige, and Kiba are in their human forms in a modern city. Kiba, walking down a busy sidewalk, begins running towards a lunar flower lying in a puddle in an alley.

Ahora solo me falta sentarme a mirar un episodio atras de otro!!!!!!! Si me ven zombie en unos dias es por que ademas de empezar Japones los martes y jueves (por lo que voy a entrar mas temprano al trabajo!) es q voy a mirar todo el anime que tengo pendiente asi como el manga de algunos de estos.

A mi coleccion de cosas "varias" (lease como peluches, muñeca de coleccion de Sailor Moon y etc) se agregaron tres nuevos integrantes, el primero como podran notar es una ranita reee cute que me trajo Van de Ciudad del Este!Hace cro-cro!! Dps tenemos un mini-cooper que me regalo mi mamele (adoro los mini-cooper!!!!) y el otro es el burro de Shrek que me trajeron de USA hace unos dias, es muuuuuy lindo!! La jirafa es la más alta de todas las especies vivientes de animales terrestres. Los machos pueden medir entre 4,8 a 5,5 m de altura y pesar hasta 900 kg. Su nombre proviene del árabe y significa la más alta de todas.
Originaria de África, la jirafa está emparentada con cérvidos y bóvidos, pero pertenece a otra familia, las Giraffidae, que comprende únicamente a la jirafa y su pariente más cercano, el okapi.
Morfología y comportamiento [editar]Las jirafas son famosas por su cuello largo,que les permite alcanzar las hojas más altas y tiernas de los árboles, y sus largas patas delanteras, que son mucho más largas que las traseras. La estructura ósea del cuello no difiere de la de otros mamíferos: no tiene vértebras extras, pero cada uno de los 7 huesos es más alargado. Además tiene unos pequeños cuernos, llamados ossicorns, los cuales están recubiertos por la piel.
Muchas otras pequeñas modificaciones a la estructura de la jirafa han evolucionado, especialmente en el sistema circulatorio. El corazón de una jirafa debe generar cerca del doble de la presión sanguínea normal de un mamífero de gran tamaño para mantener el flujo de sangre al tozuelo en contra de la gravedad. En la parte superior del cuello, un complejo sistema de regulación de la presión rete mirabile, previene el exceso de sangre en el cerebro cuando la jirafa baja su cabeza para beber.
Inversamente, los vasos sanguíneos en la parte inferior de las patas están bajo una gran presión. En otros animales, esa presión forzaría a la sangre a ser expulsada a través de las paredes capilares. Sin embargo, las jirafas tienen una gruesa capa de piel muy ajustada en sus extremidades inferiores, la cual mantiene la presión extravascular alta de la misma forma que un traje-g de un piloto.
El sonido que emiten gracias a sus enormes pulmones no es audible para el oído humano, ya que se comunican entre ellas y otros animales a través del infrasonido
La lengua es de color negro, y es tan larga (unos 5 dm) que le permite usarla para limpiarse las orejas. Posee dos cuernos y una pequeña protuberancia en el medio de la frente, una cresta huesosa, debido a un desarrollo excesivo de los huesos frontales y nasales. La boca es distinta de otros rumiantes: su labio superior no está hendido como el del camello, está recubierto de pelos y tiene una forma más aguzada. Tienen un ingenioso sistema que les permite abrir y cerrar, a voluntad, las fosas nasales. Esto les permite recubrir las cavidades olfativas contra el polvo, especialmente cuando el viento forma remolinos.
El pelaje es de color amarillo, sembrado de manchas bastantes grandes, de formato irregular y color pardo claro u oscuro, siendo las manchas del cuello y piernas más pequeñas. La parte inferior de las patas y el vientre es blanco y no presenta manchas.
Las jirafas viven en grupos de 20 a 30 ejemplares, casi todos jóvenes, ya que al envejecer buscan la soledad.
Gestación y crías [editar]La gestación de una jirafa dura entre 14 y 15 meses; nace una sola cría. La madre da a luz de pie y el saco embrionario no se rompe cuando el bebé cae al suelo. Las jirafas recién nacidas miden cerca de 1,8 m. A las pocas horas de haber nacido, las crías pueden correr y no se distinguen de una cría de una semana de edad. De todas formas, por las primeras dos semanas, estas pasan la mayor parte del tiempo recostadas, resguardadas por su madre. Mientras que las jirafas adultas son demasiado grandes para ser atacadas por la mayoría de los depredadores, las más jóvenes pueden ser presa de leones, leopardos, hienas y perros salvajes.La cria se vuelve independiente alrededor de los 18 meses. Sólo del 25 al 50 porciento de las jirafas llegan a la adultez; aquellas tienen un promedio de vida de entre 20 y 25 años.
Alimentación [editar]El régimen alimenticio de la jirafa concuerda con su físico; come las hojas de los árboles para lo cual le sirve su larga lengua. Las que viven en el sur de África prefieren las ramas y hojas que tienen espinas. Cuando se nutre con alimentos frescos y jugosos puede permanecer mucho tiempo sin agua, pero en las épocas de sequía recorre varios kilómetros para beber en las lagunas pantanosas o en las charcas. El alimento favorito de la jirafa es la Acacia, árbol que crece en la sabana africana, siendo un animal altamente selectivo en lo que come cuando tiene alimento para elegir. A pesar de esto en caso de necesidad no tiene problema en adaptarse a otros alimentos. También consume otro tipo de árboles así como hierbas. Para beber agua y alimentarse con hierbas la jirafa debe agacharse lo que la coloca en una posición vulnerable.
La lengua de la jirafa así como su aparato digestivo adaptado le permite alimentarse con vegetales espinosos, los cuales digiere sin ningún tipo de problema. Las jirafas pasan entre 16 y 20 horas al día alimentándose y pueden hacerlo durante la etapa más calurosa del día cuando tiene crías, ya que los depredadores a esa hora están inactivos. Pueden llegar a comer 65 kg de vegetales. La jirafa, al igual que las vacas, es un animal rumiante cuenta con 4 estómagos y su digestión es similar a la del resto de los rumiantes (la digestión toma un tiempo relativamente largo).
